United Arab Emirates - Dubai - Culture Village

Culture Village is a mixed-used master development with wide open spaces, traditional wind towers, cobble stone walkways, unique sculptures and waterways topped with bridges. It will feature Creek side restaurants and cafes, a maritime museum, and a dockyard where traditional dhow building will be on display.

The residential district will feature traditional low to medium-rise buildings and the commercial district will house cultural institutions, schools, academies for art, music, dance, pottery and other crafts. A rustic traditional souk, offering Arabian crafts, antiques, spices and herbs, will be the focal point of the retail district.

The Souq at Cultural Village, the region's Cultural Destination, is another example of the integration between retail, commercial and residential in creating traditional self-sustained communities.

A unique shopping experience within a traditional type of "Old Souq", the themed waterfront retail facility will sprawl across 370,000 sq ft. of a two-level shopping mall comprising over 200 shops, both interior and exterior retail spaces overlooking and interacting with the famous Dubai Creek.
